Barcelona, Spain – Day 15
July 9, 2015
Today was midterm day!!! EEK!
Luckily they weren’t bad. There was a listening portion of the Spanish exam that was a little tricky and there were a couple I didn’t know in the Contemporary Spain exam, but all-in-all I feel good about them!
I finished my Spanish midterm before the full time was up so I ended up with a longer lunch and some of us went and walked around the Gothic Quarter a little bit and got lunch in a little cafe there before I headed back for midterm round two and they headed off to tour the Sagrada Familia. Talk about not fair! I guess that’s the difference between taking a class on politics and taking a class on architecture:( But seriously, this class is an insane amount of work for a four week class especially compared to what everyone else is doing!
After classes for the day I went and walked around Passeig de Gracia for a little bit by myself, enjoying a little free time before heading back to the apartment. After I got home I spent the afternoon relaxing and doing some homework and packed for Geneva this weekend!!
Then we headed out to dinner at this Mexican food place we tried to go to for lunch called Rosa Negra. It was super crowded when we got there and they said our wait was either going to be 10 minutes if a group didn’t show up or it was going to be an hour… Luckily it was the former! We sat down and everything looked super good. I had a marinated pork taco and tortilla soup for dinner and it was delicious.
After dinner we went home and headed to bed before our early trip to the airport!
