Barcelona, Spain – Day 13
July 27, 2015
Today I had class again as usual and then after class we took a train out to Sitges, Spain. It was about a 45 minute to an hour long train ride and it only cost 8 euros round trip.
Sitges was so, so nice! So much nicer than Barceloneta Beach! And so much less crowded!! The sand was nice and soft and the water was super warm so I swam in it for a little while before taking a nice long nap on the beach (which we could never have done in Barcelona without fear of being pickpocketed!!) We stayed on the beach until about 7:30 and then went to see if we could find some food. Someone in the street handed us a 10% off card for a rooftop restaurant so we went up there ordered some mojitos and enjoyed the view 🙂
Then we took the train back to Barcelona and grabbed some pintxos to go from Txapela on Passeig de Gracia and then headed home to shower and change.
Then we went to Espit Chupitos (I know, so different?!) and next door to the Pour-Your-Own drink place before heading to Opium for the rest of the night. And the best part is it was Addie’s first night back after her foot injury and we made it through without injury! 🙂
