Barcelona, Spain – Day 26 – 30
Bear with me on these last posts because I didn’t ever finish writing all of them and I can’t fully remember day-by-day what took place, but I want to do my best to get some of it down!

Barcelona, Spain – Day 27
July 21, 2015
Today I had a reflection paper and an oral presentation due in my Spanish class. For not having written out my speech like everyone else did (I didn’t know we were allowed to) and just winging it, I did really well on my speech!

Barcelona, Spain – Day 28
July 22, 2015
Today I had to do a class presentation as part of my final in Contemporary Spain on Gentrification. It went really well! I can’t believe how much I learned about gentrification in this class considering I didn’t know anything about it beforehand!
We didn’t go out tonight because we needed to study for our finals tomorrow.

Barcelona, Spain – Day 29
July 23, 2015
Today is Harrison’s birthday! He’s officially 19 years old! WOW! He’s coming out on Saturday and I can’t wait for him to be here so that we can celebrate!!
This is the last day of the study abroad trip to Barcelona, I cannot believe it has gone by this fast!!! Can we turn back time now please??
Today we took our finals in our classes and I think mine went well! (I later found out I got A’s in both of my classes, yay!)
Tonight is our farewell dinner put on by CEA. It was hosted at Port Olimpic down at the beach and they served us a variety of different tapas and some noodle paella. It was really nice getting to hang out with everyone for one last night together. Before we all parted ways from the restaurant we had a champagne toast to a great four weeks.
After dinner was our last night of fun together!

Barcelona, Spain – Day 30
July 24, 2015
This is it. The study abroad trip is over. I can’t believe that it has possibly been four weeks! It’s absolutely incredible! This has been all around the best experience I could have ever asked for and I am so thankful for having had this opportunity and for the support of my parents. I love you so much!
Sarah and I checked into a hotel today off of Passeig de Gracia because it was time for us to leave our apartment. By the time we woke up this morning half of our roommates were gone and the rest left shortly after. After checking into our hotel, Sarah and I decided to do some last day touristy souvenir shopping around Barcelona. We walked all around Barcelona soaking it all in for our last day and we ate at Tapas 24 a tapas place we had always wanted to try and got some eggs with Iberian ham. Delish!
Luckily, we weren’t the only ones left!! Some of the guys in our program were still here for another night too before they continued on their travels! Later that night we met up and decided to head over to Montjuic for a lowkey last night of drinking champagne and looking out over the city on the palace steps. It was a great end to the trip, the perfect night sitting under the stars, drinking champagne with friends and feeling the nice cool rain sprinkling down.
